11th Annual Tee It Up for the Task Force Golf Classic

The Scott County Meth Task Force is approaching ten years of existence. After careful consideration, we decided that to better reach our audience, we wanted to rebrand. That being said, going forward we will be known as ChooseNotToUse.

The purpose of rebranding was to find a new name and logo that encompasses the dangers of all illegal drug use. Our mission remains the same: to teach K-12 and the citizens of Scott County about the dangers of illegal drug use. We continue our partnership with Climb Theatre. Climb Theatre creates high-quality educational theatre that propels audiences toward positive action. Climb Theatre sends actors into our Scott County middle schools and our Juvenile Alternative Facility in Jordan to teach classes that gives students the tools they need to analyze their own risk-taking behavior and say no to gateway drugs. They also perform Twisted Ride to Nowhere in all middle schools. Twisted Ride is a phenomenal performance and concentrates on meth and heroin use and the lives affected by that use. We have had very positive feedback from students and teachers on Climb Theatre.

Our 11th Annual Tee It Up For the Task Force which is a golf fundraiser which will be held on September 8th, 2017 at Stonebrooke Golf Course in Shakopee, MN. What can you do to help?

Thank you for your consideration.
